Ichthyoid Landior
These creatures have a lot to them to make them a better predator. Mentally they are aggressive and don't travel in packs, but more rather as single assassins. They are big enough to eat hippos, and thus that is their main diet (with maybe a few humans as desert).
Physically, ever part of their body is designed to make them more adapt to their environment. First, the fins are to mimic grass and seaweed, because they will dig into the ground to hide themselves. The fins on the arms and legs are directly centered so when they go underwater and put their limbs up against their body the fins would become the new "arms/legs". The fins also help to make the creature more aerodynamic. Being lizard like also helps be more aerodynamic. They are dark on top and light on bottom, because just like fish if prey looks up at it in water or vise versa its harder to see them. The designs and multiple "eyes" are meant to confuse the prey into thinking that they haven't been spotted, they only have two eyes (hint: the big ones). The colour brown is meant to blend in with dirt, mud, and dirty water. The antennae are also meant for confusing prey and sometimes for attracting them (flower buds, or bright objects underwater). The difference between males and females are the colour of their eyes, males have red eyes and females have blue ones.
